warfair continues to be driven by a great deal of volunteer commitment, but also has a permanent staff. Meet us here. 

About the Company

warfair was founded by Karin and Christian Friis Bach, who in the early 1990s were active in importing goods from developing countries and launching the Fair Trade Mark (Max Havelaar) in Denmark. In 2023, the ownership circle was expanded with members of the former advisory board, and in 2025 we welcomed 35 new co-owners in an equity for peace crowdfunding campaign. warfair ApS (business registration no. 40934731, click here to view the registration) is owned by the holding company Vejgaard Holding ApS (business registration no. 40930078, click here for registration), which is owned by the Friis Bach family.
